The Foreign Language Centre of the New Bulgarian University is organizing its regular Bulgarian Language Summer School for university students and all friends of Bulgarian language, life and culture. The structure of the summer school includes a two-week intensive language course and a one-week language practice, giving the students the opportunity to get acquainted with the historical and natural sights of Bulgaria.
The Foreign Language Centre has modern, well equipped teaching premises with a special multimedia hall. Its teachers are experienced and highly qualified. For more information: flc@nbu.bg and randreeva@nbu.bg

| Description | The main purpose of the Summer School is the development of the participants’ language skills. The focus is on comprehension and communication with native speakers in a natural language environment.The language course comprises 12 working days with a total of 60 teaching hours. The classes are held every day. During the first part of the course the emphasis is on mastering the language system through exercises on the phonetics, grammar and vocabulary of modern Bulgarian. The second part of the course develops the participants’ skills in using the language actively and familiarizes the students with the opportunities of learning Bulgarian over the Internet. |
